Regarding the reason for the delay in obtaining the vaccine compared to Russia and China, Al-Sallawi explained, “The third phase of the experiments is technically difficult and financially expensive, so it takes a long time ... and what Russia and China announced is, I'm sure it's more political than technical. Then he said, "If everything goes according to plan, we will get all Americans immunized by April and we can deliver the vaccine to other countries at that time."
Al-Salawi has previously expressed confidence in producing hundreds of millions of doses of the Corona pandemic vaccine by the end of this year.
