After The Murder on the Orient Express, new adaptation of Agatha Christie :Death on the Nile with Gal Gadot and Armie Hamme
Three years after The Crime on the Orient Express, Kenneth Branagh once again dons the costume and mustache of Hercule Poirot, the famous Belgian detective created by Agatha Christie. In Death on the Nile, he embarks on a luxurious cruise on the African river but his vacation in Egypt is interrupted by a series of violent deaths.
Like Crime on the Orient Express, Kenneth Branagh has assembled a 4-star cast for his new achievement. Gal Gadot (soon to star in Wonder Woman 1984), Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones), Emma Mackey (Sex Education) and Letitia Wright (Black Panther) are among the many suspects in this thriller which looks dark and sulphurous in view of these first images.
Written in 1937, this is not the first time that Agatha Christie's novel has inspired filmmakers. John Guillermin had signed an adaptation with Mia Farrow, Jane Birkin, Bette Davis and Angela Lansbury in 1978. This new version of Death on the Nile will do as well as The Crime of the Orient Express, which collected over $ 352 million in revenue when it was released in 2017? Answer on October 21 in theaters.
