British actress Diana Rigg, best known for her role as Emma Peel in the cult TV series Bowler and Leather Boots, died Thursday at the age of 82, according to The Guardian. The actress, who was the only woman to marry James Bond in In the Service of Her Majesty (1969), also starred on stage, where she became a mead. She also captivated the younger generation with her role as Lady Olenna Tyrell on Game of Thrones, a series she admitted in 2019 that she never watched.
“I like to play bad . They are so much more interesting than the good . There are actors who don't like to play bad , they like to be loved. I like not to be loved. Olenna had the best lines, ”she said of the Machiavellian Lady Olenna to the BBC.
